Book Review: “The Girl Who Drank the Moon”

“The Girl Who Drank the Moon” is such a good book. I feel like the writer really put their blood
and sweat into the book. The book feels so well-crafted and magical.

Basically, the book is about Luna, a baby left in the woods. She is rescued by Xan , a kind witch.
Every year Xan rescues a baby and takes them to one of the free cities to find a new family.
When Xan runs out of milk for the baby she grabs starlight with her fingers, and feeds it to the
baby, but with Luna she grabs moonlight instead of starlight. When Luna drinks it she is
enmagiced.

If I told you any more I would spoil it. If you are looking for an award winning and
great book.

I recommend this one highly.
